La tercera edición oficial del CALI HORROR FILM FESTIVAL ya tiene fecha: del 4 al 7 de septiembre de 2025, consolidándose como un evento imprescindible para la creación, exhibición y discusión del cine de género en Colombia y Latinoamérica.
Desde su nacimiento, este festival —creado por la comunidad cinematográfica CaliTerror— ha sido un homenaje a las voces que laten desde los márgenes del cine convencional. Es una plataforma para la provocación creativa y un semillero de nuevas narrativas sobre el miedo, el suspenso y lo desconocido.
Este año abrimos nuestras convocatorias a través de FilmFreeway y Festhome, recibiendo obras de más de 10 países y reafirmando nuestro espíritu internacional.
En un país donde el cine de género aún reclama su lugar, el Cali Horror Film Festival se posiciona como un acto de resistencia creativa: ofreciendo visibilidad, comunidad y herramientas a cineastas que han desafiado al miedo con ingenio y pasión.

The third official edition of the CALI HORROR FILM FESTIVAL is set for September 4–7, 2025, establishing itself as a must-attend event for the creation, exhibition, and celebration of genre cinema in Colombia and Latin America.
Born from the cinematic community CaliTerror, this festival honors the voices that echo from the edges of conventional filmmaking. It’s a platform for bold creativity and a breeding ground for new narratives rooted in fear, suspense, and the unknown.
Our open call for submissions is now live through FilmFreeway and Festhome, with works coming from over 10 countries—reaffirming our international reach.
In a country where genre cinema is still carving its space, the Cali Horror Film Festival stands as a form of creative resistance: offering visibility, community, and support to filmmakers who face fear with craft and authenticity.
